JY BONITO is a container ship with a deadweight of 21,054 tons, IMO No. 9208150, flying the Hong Kong flag, with Hong Kong as her port of registry, and call sign VRVU3. The vessel has an overall length of 191.45 meters, a molded breadth of 28 meters, and a molded depth of 14.1 meters. Her service speed is approximately 17 knots, demonstrating good seaworthiness. The ship has a total container capacity of 1,660 TEU, comprising 1,100 TEU on deck and 560 TEU in the holds, satisfying various stowage requirements.

Regarding the propulsion system, JY BONITO is equipped with one HITACH ZOSEN-MAN B&W 7560MC-C type diesel main engine with an output of 21,490 PS, supplemented by three WARTSILA 6L20 generator sets. Both the main and auxiliary engines are capable of using Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO). The fuel oil tank capacity is 2,059.42 cubic meters, providing sufficient endurance.
